Based in Los Angeles and Malibu, CA, Jodi L. Gold is currently pursuing her Ph.D. after completing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy at Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology. Presently, Jodi serves as a Clinical Trainee at Opica Adult Day Center in Santa Monica, CA. Additionally, she is an active contributor to Wondermind, an online mental health community co-founded by Selena Gomez, Mandy Teefey, and Daniella Pierson.
Before entering the field of mental health, Jodi founded the artist project Chateau as a vocalist and songwriter and gained significant recognition through a collaboration with the renowned dance music duo, The Chainsmokers. Jodi contributed as a writer and featured vocalist on their 2014 track, “Make Me (Can’t Change Who You Are),” which catapulted her to global acclaim within the Electronic Dance Music/Crossover Pop genres.
In addition to her work with The Chainsmokers, Jodi's credits are signed to Spinnin' Records, Warner Music Group, Dim Mak, and Armada Music. She has also lent her musical talents to projects featuring artists like world renowned DJs Armin Van Buuren, Chocolate Puma, Laidback Luke, and NGHTMRE.
Alongside her academic studies and creative pursuits, Jodi established Chateau Heal, a project aimed at integrating her musical passions with her expertise in mental health, focusing on the therapeutic aspects of music and creative expression.
